How did the information get from this site to the internet ??

search engines use web crawlers to "look" at websites and all the webpages at those sites
thats how when you put in a search term it displays the results of everything its found to that date

Can my system be compromised

not by the web crawlers
keep your system and anti malware tools updated stay away from the darkside of the internet and you will be fine
