Hi There,

I'm not sure where I can get help with my computer problem. My lap top has shut down a couple of times with a blue screen(I've attached screen shot with error codes). I've made screen shots of the error messages that I can forward.

The potential causes that are mentioned are:

1. Adequate disk space(don't think this is an issue)
2. change video adapters ( I have encountered errors streaming video on google chrome)
3. Potential Bios issues?

I've also read that the cause could be from overheating which could make sense since I use my laptop for work a lot, have a lot of documents open, and it can get hot with the fan really running. I've also started loading HD video which has shut the computer down in the past but no blue screen.

Thanks,

Chris

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Thanks to Broni for the instructions and program

Hmm I'm not sure what you did but I have never had those show up on anyone I have had use these two programs.

Neither program has a installation that has to be done. All you do is download the file to your desktop and then click on the file and it starts.

Thanks essexboy and if there is a infection in the virus first I want to apologize as it has never happened before. Secondly if there is a virus you have one of our best Malware techs already looking at it for you so you are going to be in good hands if there is.

The programs that automatically downloaded to my computer were:

Babylon toolbar
Fliptoast
Wajam

There are also some other weird programs when I look at Add/Remove programs.

Bantec service agreement
Bonjour
Yontoo

My guess is that I clicked on a download link for an advertisement rather than the program.

I now have the blue screen view on my computer but I definitely want to get rid of these other programs.

If you cannot get rid of them, then once you are finished with Ron go to the malware forum and I will remove them for you

I've attached the BSOD.text info from the blue screen view for your review.

I'll wait for your direction on next steps for the blue screen problem and the unwanted programs.
