Corrupt files?

I'm trying to install an update for NS(Natural Selection) and i keep getting an error saying "ns.wad is corrupt, please re-download......" this happens with EVERY windows install file.
I cant fully install any program that uses windows installer :tazz:
no , it's not a virus, nor spyware, this is from a fresh install of win XP
