Back with yet another problem...

I lost sound from one the right side of my headphones, so I was a little disappointed by that. I removed my headphones, to play music from my speakers instead, and I realized while the song was playing there was no sound coming out of my speaker. However, sound keeps playing only from the left side of my headphones. I took my headphone jack and noticed a red light on my hand, and I noticed that it was coming out from the headphone jack of my laptop. I did a quick Google search about it, and apparently it deals with a microswitch that has been turned on and this disables sound from the speakers.

Is there a way of fixing this without opening the laptop?
