all I have is safe mode with command prompt.

and when I click on that one it stays stuck on the last line....
Loaded: \Windows\system32\DRIVERS\CLASSPNP.SYS then I get BSOD

and on the BSOD I get the same thing except for this..this is what I get at first but after safe mode with command prompt I get 0XFFFFFA80050EA940

At what step in the process I outlined are you getting this?

When I press the F8 then it gives me the same options but command prompt..only with the safe mode.

After pressing F8 you should see:

Repair Your Computer (Select this first then do the other steps)


Do not select any of these:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking

....

Finally Start Windows Normally.

Enter System Recovery Options.

To enter System Recovery Options from the Advanced Boot Options:

• Restart the computer.
  
• As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until Advanced Boot Options appears.
  
• Use the arrow keys to select the Repair your computer menu item.
  
• Select English as the keyboard language settings, and then click Next.
  
• Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
  
• Select your user account an click Next.

On the System Recovery Options menu you will get the following options:

Startup Repair
System Restore
Windows Complete PC Restore
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool
Command Prompt


• Select Command Prompt
  
• Type SFC /scannow (Leave a single space between C and /)
  
• Hit Enter
  
• Once it completes, at the command prompt again
  
• Type chkdsk /f /r (Leave a single space between k and / and leave a single space between f and /)
  
• Hit Enter
  
• Reboot and retry Startup Repair
  
• Reboot into normal mode

after I chose repair computer it gives me a black screen then it tells me that.

I do not understand if this happens after you select Repair Your Computer or after command prompt from this menu:

OK so we cannot get to recovery options,

Do you have a system repair disk that you might have made when you got the computer?


Do you have Windows 7 DVD?



Sorry I did not understand earlier. We have to answer these questions now.

I have windows & dvd and the recoveries as well I just wanted tp find a solution before everything else..I mean I can take out the HD and connect it so that I can take all of my important files..see when I use my DVD of windows 7 I chose the language then instead of install I chose repair but it just gets stuck.

So the DVD gets stuck on repair like at this screen only for Windows 7??

So when you boot up on the Windows DVD you can get to here:

When you reboot you will see this although yours will say windows 7. Click repair my computer



But not here???

Select your operating system



Is my understanding correct of where the DVD stops?
