My apologies, I missed your earlier reples for some reason :unsure:

Repairing notebooks/laptops and in particular their motherboards is not an easy task and especially when soldering is required, if you are confident that you can replace the port yourself then that is fine but if not then please it to a competent tech as the slightest mistake will render the MB useless, an example replacement USB port http://usb-sockets.c...usb-socket.html please take the time to read the guidance at the link as it confirms the required competence needed to undertake the task.
