Machine gets to Windows Xp splash screen and after a few seconds, goes back to start of boot up, where Lenovo message displays briefly ... 'Press F2 for ... Press F12 for...' then proceeds to WinXP splash again. Help!

There was a power outage, change to the computer, installing a new program, something that has noticed the strange behavior of the computer?

Restart the computer in safe mode. To do this, so you see the post screen), press F8 until you see the option. It starts normally, or gives the same problem?
