Laptop really slow to load some web sites

Please do the following.Open Elevated Command Prompt Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Now type or copy and paste the commands below one at a time hitting enter after each.

netsh

interface

teredo


set state disabled

Exit


Open your device manager hit the start button then right click on computer then select properties then select device manager.

In device manager, click the View menu and select Show hidden devices

Then in the view drop down menu select devices by connection.

Left click the Network Adapters tree.

Right click on Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface and select Disable.

Right click on 6to4 Adapter and then select Disable.

You will need to re-peat until all are disabled then reboot,and check you connection speed by say going to youtube and checking a video.

From your minitoolbox report looks like you got your dns changed and your service pack installed. :thumbsup:

Hi,

Have run some speed tests which show that download speed was around 3246 kbps.

Pages are certainly loading faster, and I will stick with Firefox I think as IE is still having trouble loading some pages.

You've been really helpful, thank you very much. I will leave feedback for you.
