I am currently building a new computer. This will be my first build and I picked a few different parts, which I need help choosing. I just want to make sure that I can get the best performance with my computer. My money cap is estimated to around $1,600, but if someone can present me a good argument to go for something a little more expensive for whatever reason I will definitely take it into consideration. Please explain to me all that you think I should do, so I can learn from you what is best. Thanks for all the help!

You have given us your budget and an impressive list of components but can you tell us what your planned use is for the build such as office work, school, gaming, video editing, 3D graphic work and so on, this will allow us to suggest the correct type of CPU and video card and the correct amount of Ram should you require more than 8GB ect.

There is nothing wrong in asking on more than one site, but advising on new builds, is quite a time consuming task, as nearly each component must be examined to ensure complete compatability,

You have already received a comprehensive reply on one site, to which you have not yet responded.


I just have a little concern that we will be doing the same job, as other people on other sites.

May I suggest that you pursue the topic on the site where you have already received a comprehensive reply, which you will know of course, opens with more or less the same question that my good colleague phillpower2 has asked

Then when you have responded to your topic on the other site, if you feel, that there are queries remaining, you will of course be more than welcome to return here, to seek further advice, if you so wish

I apologize, at the time I did not realize people were actually looking over my comment and I regrettably acted a little impatiently.
