I am currently working on a documentary and using a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. The video files record to a .mov format on a compact flash card. I cannot download the files from the memory cards (I have two 32 GB cards) to my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6.8) . The first day I downloaded from my camera through iphoto and there were no problems. However, today I cannot download through iphoto, image capture, nor picasa. I have tried to use an external card reader but it keeps ejecting itself under some general "error". I only have a few days here (on an island south of mainland South Korea) before I have to fly back to the main land. Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.
