Bottom line,downloaded a bad file and ignored the warning from Mbam cuz there was a keygen in the mix,and beleive it or not,a fairly trusted source,many would be surprised if i said where... Anyways,i didnt need the keygen,just wanted to use the trial ver. but it jammed me up bad.
Bottom line,Malwarebtes found something in the registry and cannot delete no matter what i do.
Other symtoms include new programs added without permission, combofix says norton is running but it is gone from services.exe, and when i went to uninstall norton it is renamed to noaa forecast something,and will NOT uninstall..Another few minor things so far...
This is on two laptops,because the file was used on both,same symtoms for both.
I would be ever so greatful.If someone could tell me how to get instant email notifications of this,that would be great too...
