Do you think that by disabling that add on and by stopping firefox start up add ons it will also help the redirect virus on ie? I haven't tried ie yet but so far by restarting firefox without allowing add ons I havent seen the redirect virus. Should I click to always start firfox with disabling add ons?

If Safe Mode scares off the redirect then it's probably caused by one of your add-ons (extensions or plugins). IF you go into FF, Firefox, Add-Ons, Extensions you can Disable each add-on then restart FF in regular mode. If the redirects are still gone then go back and enable them one at a time and try to figure out which one is causing the problem. If that doesn't help then do the plugins. It might be a Javs program so Clear the Java Cache by following the instructions on
http://www.java.com/...ugin_cache.xml.

I only have 1 add on under extensions it's called performance cache 1.0 by identity ltd I disabled that I hope this works
