Thanks for reading my post and hopefully helping me out!
I have an Dell running XP and when you turn it on it shows the blue screen with Intel logo (pentium) and then it shows the black Windows logo screen then it goes back to the Intel logo screen in an endless loop.
I read the post in the forum about the unbootable computer and burned the avg .iso file on to a CD (DVD-R)
and read how to change the Bios to boot from CD. I am not very good at following those directions for some reason.
Now it says to "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device"
I have tried to put above referenced CD in both CD drives and neither is working. It must be my inability to understand the BIO step??
This computer is one of our business computers with some very important records and I would really like to get rid of the malware or virus that caused this.
Thank you again for any help you may be able to offer!
