I have an IBM ThinkPad Z60m, but it doesn't play games like CS on full screen, but in a square box, with black borders.

Ati Mobility Radeon X300
Windows XP Professional 32-bit

Sorry for bothering, but I managed to fix this. Downloaded some drivers, appears GPU hasn't never been updated.

Got drivers from this site: http://www.techspot....formation/3416/
Sorry again :D

The problem is caused by the fact that Couner Strike runs in 4.3 aspect
Causing double Black Bar screen on the lateral side of LCD because it's running on 4:3 aspect ratio on a wide screen laptop.

Some games and I am NOT a gamer have the facility to run it in widescreen aspect and this is what you should explore

Other than that change the resolution of the graphics and see where you go from there please
