Hi :) as the title says it, im going to buy a tablet but i dont know which one :P
My first choice for the moment is the Blackberry Playbook, it looks awesome and all but isnt it a little outdated?
My second choice is the google Nexus 7, ive looked up alot of info and its reaaaly good for its price, but like they say "if its to good to be true, its to good to be true" so whats the bad thing about nexus 7? I know the front camera sucks and there is no back camera but that doesnt matter but i dont know if there is a micro sd slot :P
Oh and i use tablets mainly for watching videos, so i need a pretty high res and (like both proposed tablets) and a lot of storage (Playbook comes in 64GB, but nexus 7 is only 16GB and i dont know if there is Micro SD slot).
So actually my 2 main questions are:
-Is the Blackberry Playbook outdated?
-What's the catch about Google Nexus 7 and does is have a micro SD slot?

Hi jojola, and welcome to Geeks to Go! :)

The Blackberry Playbook is outdated. The Amazon Kindle Fire is essentially the same hardware with different software.

The Google Nexus 7 was just announced today, and I either haven't seen, or they haven't yet announced whether it will be expandable via micro SD.

What's the catch? The Kindle Fire is designed to direct you to their Amazon App Store. The Google Nexus 7 is designed to direct you to the Google Play Store.

I own a Kindle Fire. However, today I would buy the Google Nexus 7. Next month? Maybe the Kindle Fire 2 which is rumored to be announced in July.

I know it has not been mentioned, but I just wanted to say that I own an iPad mini and I love it. The video quality is great. The size is very light weight making it easy to travel with and hold and type if needed.
