Desktop Icons Keep Resetting

Each time i move my icons manually and then reboot they reset themselves.

I have unchecked Auto Arrnage and Align to Grid.

I have also checked the desktop permissions in the registry and they are all set to Allow.

Can anyone help?

I don't know what is causing the problem, but Iconoidwill solve it for you. It allows you to save icon placement then restore it on boot.

Thanks. However this is a company computer and we cant install 3rd party software on it.

I wonder if your IT folks have done something? You may want to check with them.
