Hello,
I have run MBAM and no infections were detected. I tried running OTL to post a log but cannot run the application but get the error listed in the title "windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I'm not even sure if I am posting in the correct location because I don't know what the problem is. This error comes up for almost all new programs I try to run, but old ones work correctly. I own the computer and have tried running things in compatibility mode and as administrator to no avail.

I'm not sure if it is related, but I also have issues with Microsoft Word and Excel working very slowly (often showing "Not Responding" for a few seconds after most actions). Word also tries to connect to the printer often resulting in more delays of not responding, and changing font or cutting and pasting pauses in excel.

My system is windows 7 home premium SP1, 64 bit. Excel and Word are 2007.

I hope you can help! Thanks so much!
