before i do all that someone told me that microsoft picture it premium 9 may not be compatible with sp3.Could this be the problem?

Do you by chance have any Norton products installed? I did find it works on Vista and Win 7 with issues also.

Are you still having problems with your issue?
It has been 25 days since your last response and I was wondering if the issue has been resolved?
