I can no longer open Internet Explorer. When I attempt to open the program I get the following.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
abnormal program termination

I've tried Adware, Spybot, and Norton Antivirus scan. I've searched the web for similar problem but can't figure it out. It might have something to do with the fact that I tried to update to XP SP2 but it crashed my computer so I had to go back to SP1.
My computer also takes a long time to startup and runs slower than it should.

Here is my hijackthis.log

Have you tried using a different browser such as Firefox? I was having major problems with IE and after I downloaded ZoneAlarm I was able to block the program causing the error which was called Win32 I think. After I downloaded that I stopped getting the error, but my IE still kept locking up. Since I switched to Firefox I haven't had any problems at all. Another good browser you could use is called Maxthon. I hope this helps!
