Hello,I own a Dell studio 1558, one day i turned it on, and saw that it said system repair or start normally so i clicked system repair, and it loads but all i see is the background. if i choose start normaally i just get a blank black screen, ive tried to load windows 7 off of a usb but i dont have the cd. Any help?

I take it this laptop is fairly new and still under warranty?
Are you getting any post screens at all?
Have you tried a external monitor to see if it shows the windows loading?

Ive had this laptop for more than a year now, It say Bootmgr is missing.

Being that you posted 15 minutes ago and then 6 minutes later posted please respond I think you need to be a little more patient. We are all volunteers and handle more then a couple of topics at a time. Sometimes it can take a day or two before you get a response but I just happened to check your topic. Responding to your own topic makes it look like you are getting help so a potential member may not even look at your topic if they think someone else is helping you. Just a word of advice for the future. ;) :thumbsup:

Ahh ok now that is a different issue all together.
Try following the instructions HERE from Microsoft but it does mean you would need the Win7 disk to do this.

sorry about that, but i havent recieved any help, its just that im fairly good with computers, and this one problem stands tall in my way.

Are you still having problems with your issue?
It has been 22 days since your last response and I was wondering if the issue has been resolved?
If so can you explain how it was resolved so others may be able to fix it if they have the same issue.
If not please let us know and we can continue with helping you to resolve the issue.
