My IE will not open anything I try to open. Downloads especially. It says it cannot find the program that created it.
I have Windows XP.
My home-based business in going down the tubes because I cannot fix this.
It won't even let me check for malware, spyware or anything!
I can however still use Moxilla Firefox.
Anything to do with IE is not working. Even my desktop icons are not there.
Please help and Thank you so much.

It sounds like you have picked up some kind of malware. Go to the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal forum, read the first post and follow instructions.

Come back here once you get a clean bill of health if you still have problems.
