Since upgrading to Thunderbird 13.x.x I have had the following problem.

Let's assume I have 10 emails waiting on the server.

When switching on the machine for the first time each day, and opening Thunderbird to get my Emails I find I can only download the first message. Trying again will download the same message.
It goes like this.

Click on Get all new messages.

(downloading message 1 of 10 to mail at btinternet.com)

The first message goes to the inbox. Then the progress bar stops for a few seconds and the message

'No messages to download' Appears.

However, if I go to Help > Restart with add-ons disabled

And disable all add-ons > restart, I can then get all the emails and the program will work ok until I next shut down.

I didn't have this problem with the earlier version of Thunderbird.

I am running XP.

Any ideas anyone ?
