Motorola NVG510 Modem as a Wi-Fi HotSpot?

My brother-in-law has a Motorola NVG510 Modem hooked up to his Dell GX280 computer with Windows XP Professional SP2. He would like me to set it up so the NVG510 is a Wi-Fi Hotspot so that his daughter can use her iPod with the Wireless.

So, how do I go about setting up the Motorola NVG510 as a Hotspot?
