Toshiba C650 Keeps saying not bootable device

My toshiba keeps saying this:
intel undi , pxe-2.0 (build 083)
copyright © 1997-2000 intel corporation
for atheros pcie ethernet controller v2.0.1.9(12/15/09)
check cable connection!
pxe-m0f:exiting intel pxe rom.
no bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key

what do i do?? please help
i would like to try to fix it my self. and not pay for anything

When you power up try pressing either the F1 or Esc key to access the BIOS, once there check your boot order and post back with what is listed.
What we are looking for is to see if your HDD (hard drive) is detected by the BIOS + to see if your computer is set to boot from a network, if it is and your onboard Ethernet device has issues you will encounter this kind of problem, some further information @ http://pic.dhe.ibm.c...etworkboot.html
