I see what you are saying, and yeah that's a little high for a laptop. I had a machine that ran at 64c to 68c and up for years and never had any issues, but I know each machine is different. I know if I had one run that high on me now a days, I'd be freaking out too. And you're right, it's most likely a fan that needs to be replaced.

You can test the picture by hooking a external monitor and see if the issue happens then. If so then it is either the video or the heat.
Have you thought about a laptop cooling pad.

That laptop has a reputation for running hot

Check in BIOS that the ram settings and CPU settings are default on voltages etc.

If it has been overclocked it will run hot.
