Hi,

Please close RogueKiller.

I need some more information at this point:

1. Are other computers using the router experiencing redirects as well?

2. How long have you been suffering the redirects, do you have an approximate date when they started?

3. Are redirects evident in all browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome)?

4. Please tell me if you have your original Windows XP Professional SP3 CD/DVD available.

5. Is this laptop or desktop?

Please just close RogueKiller without fix as those are not malicious entries.

Your system was infected with one of the TDL variants. But it seems clean now.

What are your network devices? Modem with routing functionality or you have modem and router as discrete devices? Please provide me with brand and model of all your network devices.

Can you please clarify what you mean by network devices? Can I find these in my control panel?

Network devices are physical things. Like modem, switch and router.

Can you enter router's settings?

How to do this:

In browser's address bar type: 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER.

Then type your username and password.

There are a couple of options for settings (basic and advanced). What specifically are you looking for?

Yes, but when you go under wireless settings (which is where I went) there are various options.

I'll PM you the settings as I don't feel comfortable publicly posting this information for all to see.

I don't need these settings. I only want you to check and write down in your next reply router's DNS settings.

So please click on My Network icon in the main screen.
Then click on Network Connections on the left side.
On Network Connections screen click on Network (Home/Office).
Network (Home/Office) Properties screen should appear.
Now click on Settings at the bottom of the screen.
If you scroll little down you should see DNS Server and then Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS server.
Please write down these two addresses of primary and secondary DNS servers and post them in your next reply.

OK. Then please enter following DNS addresses and then save settings:

Primary DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

These are Google's public DNS servers.

Then check for redirects.
