I had a problem with WMP starting on boot up. The problem was in the registry and came from malware or virus. This happened when I was downloading from Morpheus. I fixed the problem by going to silentrunners.org and downloading their script. It pinpointed exactly where the registry key was. I deleted it and all is fine now. Good luck.
