I have been fighting Norton running under my system, messing up HD #1, then when new #2 HD came, referred back to forumn article, copied & pasted removal for this pc to OTL, then, HD went bad again, TG under warrenty, now after ANOTHER HD replacement, I want to be 100% sure that #3 does not have ANY Norton stuff that Toshiba LOVES to have in their stuff in my pc brain :D

Thought all was gone, but a lil worried when I saw this in the OTL read: Synaptics Incorporated) [Kernel | On_Demand | Running] -- C:\Windows\SysNative\drivers\SynTP.sys -- (SynTP)

I am using Microsoft Essentials, so it will be plenty.

TY AGAIN 4 all help.

Norton is Symantec bot Synaptics

The latter is usually drivers related to touchpad and mouse on a laptop. If you want to be sure do a search on the main drive for Norton's and\or Symantec and see if it finds anything. Post back with your results please.
