Sound coming out one headphone ear.

when using headphones sound will come out normally when playing games / listening to a music file on the computer already (windows 7), but when using a web browser internet explorer latest version it will only come out of one side of my headphones the right side. I tryed switching to firefox to see if it was just internet explorer but can't get youtube songs to work they are currently offline :/.
