Problem Downloading Java

Bought a brand new lenovo and when I tried downloading Java an error came up right after the installer finished downloading. saying C:/Users/(Admin)/APPData/Temp//fx-runtime.exe is corrupt. This comes up constantly when trying to download Java. I tried the offline download and it downloads fine, but when using programs running java it doesn't recognize that the program is even there.

But did you try to install running the offline installer?
