Hello I'm having the problem of different windows freezing
I'm using windows xp pro with all the windows update that you get from microsoft including sp1 and sp2
it seems to mostly be windows explorer but it does it on some other programs. mostly it just slows right down and i end up closing explorer from taskmanager then running explorer.exe from taskman to get the start bar back up.
i had this problem before and i just recently tried reformating the computer but still have the problem. i've looked at one other discusion on here and have goten the programs that were on there and here is the info they gave me.

FindRK-files.zip
C:\rkfiles

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FILES FOUND BY THIS METHOD ARE NOT BAD FILES, THERE MIGHT BE LEGIT FILES LISTED AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE FIXING. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF WHAT IT IS LEAVE THEM

ALONE.
Files Found in system Folder............

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dfrg.msc:

C:\WINDOWS\vsapi32.dll: UPX!t4

do you know how many stick you have? it could maybe be that one of your sticks are bad or that they are different types of sticks and are incompatible with each other or the motherboard. if you download EVEREST (google search EVEREST DOWNLOAD) it will tell you how many and what kind of sticks you have...or you could just pop open your box and look. if you go that route and do have more than one stick try removing one and running your comp and then repeat with the other. if that fixes your problem then either one was bad or incompatible with your current system configuration.
