OK I know you probably won't like this but can you rerun to make sure. I am more interested in if it finds any bad sectors on the hard drive.

OK in post 13 I asked:

Have you uninstalled AVG and installed one of the others I suggested?

Which you responded in post 14 with:

and yes I installed Avast.

You did not say if you uninstalled AVG though. :whistling:

The million dollar question now is have there been anymore BSOD's since 9:34 last night which is the last one you posted for me. When was the last time you opened the system up and made sure all the dust bunnies were cleared?

I did uninstall AVG, and I literally cleaned out the dust of my computer yesterday, and I've had one more BSOD since then, which is:

On Sat 8/11/2012 11:55:22 AM GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\081112-25287-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x70010)
Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time.

OK great now we are getting closer to the root issue. Please do the following for me if you can.

Please Run the PCPitstop.com OverDrive Full Tests

Here's how:

You must use your Internet Explorer for this procedure. (doesn't work so well in Firefox or others). If your machine is running Vista or Windows 7, you must Select IE to “Run as Administrator”. After completing PCPitstop OverDrive you can close your IE browser and re-open it Normally so that you are no longer running as administrator.

Go to: http://www.pcpitstop.com
Click on "Free Computer Check-up" listed below PC Pitstop OverDrive
In the User Login - Click on "Sign up FREE!"
You'll need to submit a valid email address and create your own password, then click - Create Account(button)

Now enter your email address and password to Log in, Select - Scan this system Now!(button)
You will then be asked to download an ActiveX component and allow it to install.
It is safe and does not compromise your privacy.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the ActiveX and to allow the Full Tests to be run on your machine.

The Full Tests take about 2 1/2 - 3 minutes on most machines.
When complete, a Results - Summary - Recommended Fixes will be displayed.

Please post the URL internet address, from your Results, back here into this Topic Thread so that we can review the configuration and present performance levels of your machine.

Note: During the graphics 2D and graphics 3D testing, your screen will display some rapidly moving objects.
If you are sensitive to visual flashing, it may cause dizziness. Therefore, look away from the screen during that portion of the testing.

After reviewing the results we will be more informed and may be able to provide better recommendations for you to work towards improving your machine's performance.

While PCPitstop does offer a variety of Paid Products, the PCPitstop OverDrive testing is FREE. Please ignore the references to Paid Products. We prefer to provide manual solution instructions that you can apply directly to your machine.

Best Regards

Interesting as it does not show any drivers out of date. The one thing it does show is you have Utorrent installed. :whistling:
Now knowing that I have to say this may all be caused by a hidden infection but I am going to continue on the basis of a driver issue right now. Please do the following and post the screenshots so I can see what this shows as drivers out of date.

Download DriverMax and have it scan your system. It will open their website with all the out of date drivers you can update. With the free version you can update only 2 drivers per day so if you have a lot of them it will take a few days to get everything updated. I have been using it for about 4 months now and like it better then any other utility out there for keeping my drivers up to date.
If you want you can post screenshots of all the drivers in the list that need to be updated and I will suggest in what order to get them.

OK very first one I need you to get is that SMBus controller driver. That is the motherboard chipset driver which controls how everything talks together on the motherboard.
Let me know when that is installed. Also please let me know if you get any BSOD's after it is installed.
