The recommended spec is simply a quad core Intel or AMD CPU. Minimum requirement is a dual core. I'd say your CPU is well suited to the task.

Like most game, your GPU (graphics chip) is probably more important. Very few modern games are CPU limited.

I know I can run it technically but it's a bulldozer line CPU which has a tendency to be a ball ache with some games. I currently cannot run The Darkness 2 or Space Marine because of a clock skip interval.
