Hello -

I'm having issues with my wireless router (Linksys WRT300N). All the port lights (despite having only one cable plugged in) as well as the internet light are brightly lit, but the power light is dim. There is no connection being made between the router and my desktop (Windows XP), and I'm getting a "Network cable unplugged" network error message. Tried unplugging/replugging and resetting to no avail. Also tried different power adapters with no luck.

Connecting the desktop directly to the DSL modem works fine.

I recall this happening once before, but I don't remember how I rectified it - any insight that could be provided is welcome.

Thanks -

Hi,

Did you try to do a Hardware reset inserting a paperclip in the hole at the back and keep it pressed for 10s?
Resetting the router to factory defaults and changing the router’s password

If you can't reset probably the router its gone.

I duplicated because I thought my issues might perhaps fall under the networking category. My initial post stated that I had tried resetting without luck - that and the fact that this happened once before with me being able to resurrect it gave me hope.

I was merely trying to reach out to any and all who might offer suggestions.

Any luck with this? My router was working fine and just stopped today. I've unplugged it several times now its doing the same thing with the dim power and all the port an Internet lights bright. I'm hoping its not completely bad. Plz let me know if you found a solution.
