I have a face-plate on the wall with a coax output that went straight into my television. However, my televisions coax input broke, so I have to buy a converter for the clear QAM signal.
Rather than spending 125+ on this top box (http://www.firebird-...mi-dct210.shtml) would the following combination work? Hopefully it will, since it's about $100 dollars cheaper.

Thanks for your time
