I have a LapTop running WinXP Pro and just noticed a folder in the root of C: named "MDT" containing only 3 files all of which show today's date (8/21/12): MSetting.ini, path.ini and Setting.ini.

I am about to do an OS re-install on this machine and am wondering should I "save" a copy of this folder and copy it back after the re-install or what?

Thanks in advance,

I wouldn't. If it's needed whatever program required it will recreate it.
