When you try to connect what error do you get ?

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Devices
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files
Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

When I try and connect, it says firefox or whatever server I try, can't find the page...Would the log for the internet repair be in that same directory too? I ran the minitool box before but u want me to run it again right?

OK lets now check a registry key out and file

Run OTL and in the custom scans box copy/paste the following :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\RouterManagers\IP /s
/md5start
iprtrmgr.*
/md5stop

Press quick scan and post the resultant log

Hi you copied the registry key name wrong, could you re-run but this time just copy and paste rather than type it in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\RemoteAccess\RouterManagers\IP /s
