Hi,

I have a brother DCP 9040CN laser printer and the toner cartridges are running low.

I recently replaced the black with a refilled cartridge and was very disappointed in the quality, so I intend to replace with proper new cartridges. That said, I was rather shocked at the cost of a full set - € 417 if I order online:

I've tried uk pricerunner but it didn't come up with anything useful.

Does anyone here know if I can get a better deal?

Are the replicas (http://www.tintencen...m-y-p-8804.html) any good?

I know they're half the price, but I don't really want to settle for lower quality.

Would appreciate any good ideas.

Hi RedSuedePump!

Unfortunately, remanufactured cartridges typically aren't going to provide either the quality or the yield you would normally see from the OEM cartridges. Which is why you will pay less for them. ;)

Check out this article.

Hope this helps!
