There is this folder-"HPQLOG" it is under the folder "Program Data" in drive C, my computer had alerted me on low disk space and i wondered what had occupied such a big space on the disk until i discovered that this folder had occupied a cool 232GB which was abnormal

, i run a disk scan with AVG which didn't solve the problem,
i tried to delete this folder which deleted all files except one which is 50GB,

That was yesterday,

today, it haD occupied the 230 going to 250GB!!
i tried deleting again but this file-8GB refused to delete again saying that it couldn't delete because the file was being used by another program even though no other programs were running.

I have tried to use the 'restore default' option in the folder's properties but it still doesn't want to delete, these files, which are XML type which call themselves HPSecurity tools are currently duplicating thmselves, please advise

Reboot and when you see the maker's logo, hear a beep or it talks about F8, start tapping the F8 key slowly. Keep tapping until the Safe Mode Menu appears and choose Safe Mode with Networking. Login with your usual login. See if you can delete the files now.

Run OTL (Vista or Win 7 => right click and Run As Administrator)

Paste (Ctrl + v) the copied text in the box where it says Custom Scan/Fixes

Select the All option in the Extra Registry group then Run Scan.

You should get two logs. Please copy and paste both of them.
