HP Pavilion a210e
Winxp "home" edition Ver. 2002, SP 3
Internet Explorer 8

Hello again.

I am not able to download AVG free or Ccleaner to a friend's hp pavilion a210e. I found a post on this forum with what I thought was a similar problem as mine but I saw the warning "Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems" so I backed away.

When I try to download either of the above mentioned programs, the d'load box pops up but before it starts to d'load, the following message pops up: "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded".

At some time in the past I assume Norton Symantec was installed because I see remnants left on the computer. I know for a fact that he has used a paid version of AVG antivirus for the last year or two.

I have looked for a solution but have been unsuccessful. Can you help me here?
Thanks, John Go

Please disregard. I have figured out and corrected the problem under the Internet Options Security tab.
