Sharing Connections Isn't Working So Well

I'm trying to share my internet connection from my computer to my Xbox 360. When I connect them and enable connection sharing, the Xbox can connect, but after 30 minutes or so, the connection on my computer doesn't want to work anymore. When I disconnect the ethernet cord and repair connection on my computer, the connection will work again. Any way to make it not shut down after 30 mins?
