Switch on computer message says windows failed to load.
Options a re start normally or system repair. Either takes us to same screen.
F8 options all end in the same place.
have run windows XP installation disc but after a period of time it stopped and said it had detected a serious error.

Now running diagnostics from f2 boot options. No problems detected so far.

Anyone offer any advice please?
We are novices BTW as you can probably tell.
