Hello. First off I would like to thank whoever responds. I have read some posts hear and it is awesome to me that you very smart and nice people help us. OK...My computer seems to have been running slugish for some time now, (slow start up ect.) I see some weird things such as a shadow behind my mouse pointer sometimes.I recently ran a superantispyware scan that seemed scary. I think someone is watching me...I dont know why they would... I have very little money as i am a disabled paraplegic on ssid but i would like to be able to safely use my computer to make small purchases online. I will not post the log from s.a.s yet as i read you would first like the otl log results. Here they are... there were two, one named OTL.Txt The other named extras.Txt. If you would like the S.a.S log then I will post it. One note is that I bought this laptop used many years ago and I think that it may have a bootleg version of vista on it :(. I dont have the money to buy a new laptop or real version of the OS at this time and don know how to use ebuntu vary well. If this makes it impossible to help me, or me to help myself then I understand.
http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.exe
http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTL.exe <---- That is the second one named Extras.txt
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

OK lets check it out first.. Could you post both OTL logs please

  • Please download WVCheck by Artellos from one of the mirrors below;

    Artellos.com (exe)
    Artellos.com (zip)

  • After the download, run WVCheck.exe
  • As indicated by the prompt, This program can take a while depending on your hard drive space.
  • Once the program is done, copy the contents of the notepad file as a reply.

I copied (select all) and pasted both of logs that came up and they resulted in the two links that are in the bottom of my post... Do they not lead to the logs for you? Im guessing not :/ If not should I copy and paste the whole log to my next post so it becomes a whole readable log in my post? That seems like a lot of info to put out in the open air of the internet. I could easily be wrong about that. If so i will have to rerun OTL again as I closed the log pages. It may take a lil bit. Sorry, my computer skills are not great. Also When I tried to open OTL from the link it automaticly opened my download folder and put it there. Then, It said it could not be opened from a temp. folder. I used one of the other methods and got it to open and run. ( I would like to save it to my desktop) Also I googled WVcheck and it says that it checks the authenticity of the OS. If i run this, and it comes back to be not legit will I or the person who put it on get in trouble or cause my computer to be completely inoperable? Im sorry again for my timidness.

If WV check comes back OK then the copy of windows that you have is legitimate. I must confirm this I am afraid
