Does anyone have any suggestions for software for helpdesks? I need an application that allows users to submit via email (and possibly web) tickets and that we can track our work. Another forum has recommended a type of hosted helpdesk but I want to see if there's anything cheaper out there.

Any recommendations sought.

Hi,

Every Helpdesk System will have specific needs but check Spiceworks and see if its ok for your needs.
Spiceworks can do a lot more but it can be setup to open with the Helpdesk module by default, you don't need to use everything.

Make sure you check the support forum you will find lost of information and people that will help solving any problem.
