These days I have got a new ipad and want to trasfer my kindle books to it for reading, when I tried this, the books just can not be open? Any professional suggestion on it? I do not want to lose those books.

iPad has taken the world by storm since it released. Apart from the large colour capacitive, multi-touch screen,compact, solid battery equipment and a huge app base, it has even opened up eBooks to much wider audience .
Reading on iPad is just like reading a book. iPad makes reading books a cool thing,especially with the built-in iBook. But due to iPad supports EPUB eBooks best, so we need convert azw to ipad supported format with 2 steps.
Step1: you need to use a tool Epubsoft Kindle DRM Removal for Mac to remove the protection of the source kindle books.
You can search how to remove drm from azw on kindle in epubsoft websit.
Step2: use the free software calibre to convert azw to epub.
