This tool fixes missing registry keys.
Perhaps sometimes caused by malware.
If the tool is ran and it does not work then there is active malware.
If op complains it did not work next step send em to malware removal forums.
Most likely a tdss rootkit.

Please download FarbarServiceScanner and run it on the computer with the issue.

Make sure the following options are checked:
Internet Services
Windows Firewall
System Restore
Security Center/Action Center
Windows Update

Press "Scan".
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

Run this tool as admin.

having the same problem and tried using your tool but the fire wall deletes it as a virus

Firewalls don't delete anything, anti-virus programs may though. Disable it then download and run the tool. Enable when done.
