Simply put, my Windows 7 pc isn't allowing me to access Windows Firewall to change its settings. I get the following error when attempting to do so:



I'm having a PC to gaming console (XBOX360) streaming issue that I think may be directly related to this problem. I'm hoping once this is resolved, I'll be able to take care of that problem as well.

That seemed to do the trick. I can now access and modify my firewall and settings.

Well, I'm not sure if you saw the other part of my original post or not, but it concerns connectivity of my computer's Windows Media Center and my XBOX 360. I thought it was related to my firewall issue, but now that that is resolved, I'm still having troubles. Both aren't seeing one another but I am still able to access the XBOX LIVE service and do everything else online (gaming, Netflix streaming, etc.) I posted a similar thread over in the Console Gaming section, but have yet to get any responses.

Don't know if it is something you could help with or are even willing to. Regardless, thank you very much for your assistance in clearing up the firewall matter.

Nope. That didn't do anything. Everything else works fine. I'm just not able to re-add my XBOX as an extender in Windows Media Center. It used to work before.
