Just upgraded Toshiba notebook to Windows 7. With Internet Explorer open when I tap on the elevator for up or down the screen changes size. How can I stop this?

Assuming that Toshiba uses mostly the same gestures across all their laptops, it probably thinks you're touching the touchpad in two places at the same time. You might be able to disable the advanced gestures by opening the control utility which probably appears in the task bar at the bottom right. You can also learn about the gestures for your specific model at this site: http://www.csd.toshi...upport&sn=false "Using the TouchPad" is usually in "Chapter 1"

Alternatively, you can also use (most of the time) the arrow keys to scroll short distances at a time, and (almost always) the Page Up and Page Down keys to scroll large distances. Ctrl+0 will reset the zoom to standard if it gets messed up again, and if you find that you prefer it slightly more or less than standard, Ctrl+"+" and Crtl+"-" will adjust it.
