Hey I can't find anything to open this Minidump file so I zipped it and maybe someone can get me a quick analysis as to why I keep getting BSOD, this only recently started happening when I installed my Iomega NAS and I can't find a fix for it. Any help is greatly appreciated. .zip file of .dmp is attached.

:welcome:

Download Security Check by screen317 from here.
http://screen317.spy...curityCheck.exe
Save it to your Desktop.
Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc Unzip it to your desktop and then double click autoruns.exe After the scan is finished then click on File>>>>>>>>>>>Save The default name will be autoruns.arn make sure to save it as Autoruns.txt under the file type option. in other words make sure it is a .txt file instead of .arn Attach the text in your next reply.

Can you give me the exact make and model of your machine please.

Is there any reason that you are not running an antivirus?

How often do the bluescreens happen.

The crashes seem to be related to your network driver............

Open an elevated command prompt then copy and paste the following one at a time hitting enter after each.

cd C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

takeown /a /f hosts

cacls hosts /p everyone:f

Reply Y Then copy and paste the text below hitting enter after.

attrib -s -h -r hosts

Close the command prompt window.

Go here and run the fix it for the hosts file,as admin.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

After the fix it runs then reboot, the hosts file should be restored to original.

Manually un-tick Ipv6
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852

Run the fix it below as admin.

http://go.microsoft....?linkid=9728872

Hit the start button and type services.msc scroll down to the dns client service right click it and select properties then change the startup type to disabled. Then stopthe service.

Reboot your machine.

Update your Intel® 82583V Gigabit Network Connection With the intel update utility You must use internet explorer to use this tool.
http://www.intel.com.../support/detect

If that fails then use Driver max..
http://www.innovativ....com/drivermax/

When installing driver max it will have an optional toolbar please untick that when installing it.You get two free driver updates with drivermax each day update your network driver. Also your chipset if there is one for it.

I built this machine so it does not have a make and model. I don't run anti-virus because I pretty much only use this machine for audio editing. The bluescreens happen when I am using anything that requires the TCP/IP connection such as connecting and transferring files to my NAS. The steps taked thus far which you suggested seem to have helped so far. Let me run this for a little while and I'll let you know the details in the morning. BSOD might pop up again if I try to transfer large amounts of data across ETH1 to the NAS.

There is no need to do this what I would like you to do if I help solve your issue give what you planned on giving me to a homeless person or just drop it at a gas station parking lot perhaps someone who needs it more than I will find it. :)
