i will try checking my keyboard settings because if i remember correctly, i haven't touched any menu in the control panel...but to make sure, i'll do that.

it just seemed to pop out last night. i used it before and it was fine...it was just last night, it started when i logged in...i thought it was a trojan or something.

I had the same prolem. I checked my <windows> key. You know, the ones between the CTRL and ALT with those windows on it. It could be stuck in there. When you press them and use those letters, they perform executables. If you press D you go to your Desktop. Try pushin those buttons, or remove them from you keyboard if you don't use them. Also check if there is some hard stuff between the buttons and coushin of the keys. (Dust shouldn't do this, maybe some cookie crumbles? or bread crumbles)

Have you tried hooking another keyboard up to the computer and seeing if you have the same problems? It sounds to me like there is some issue with the keyboard keys themselves as Idle-Brain mentioned. Sometimes something can come loose and the keys become extremely sensitive, stuck, or don't work at all.

thanks S A A B for the program suggestion. Also, thanks makai for that useful link. Although they didn't help much, they were useful.

astrophysicist, thanks for suggesting that to me. Maybe it's the keyboard problem because it accidentally got wet, so maybe it's that problem...I'll try that. THANKS GUYS!!!
